Absolutely. Our 1h excursion is perfect for beginners aged 13 and over. Our 2h ride is available for adventurous or experienced riders. Riders aged between 9 and 12 are welcome on our 1h ride, however a minimum of experience is required for the smooth running of the activity.

No, we never put 2 people on a horse.

Horseback ride for kids (30 mins)

With our horseback riding lessons for children in Tremblant, children between the ages of 4 and 9 years old will have the chance to experience a 30 minutes ride on a small horse while a parent safely steers the reins.

Horseback riding - Initiation for kids (1h15)

Our horseback riding lessons are a perfect activity to get kids 4 years old and over-excited about horseback riding!

Know before you book :

For children between 4 and 9 years old.

Maximum 110lbs / 50kg.

Minimum 2 participants, maximum 4 participants (max 4 horses per tour).

No trotting or galloping. 1 participant per horse.

One parent per child must hold the reins of the little horse.

Know before you go:

Please dress appropriately for horseback riding. Ask if you are unsure or see our What to wear section.

Participants must wear long pants and closed toe shoes.

Our base is 40 minutes from Tremblant resort. Approximately a 2-hour drive from Montreal and Ottawa.

Duration - Horseback ride for kids: Approximately 30 minutes.

Duration - Horseback riding - Initiation for kids: Approximately 1h15.

For guests who choose to reserve in advance (recommended), directions to meeting points will be provided in your reservation by email. Otherwise, directions will be handed to you when you reserve at The Activity Centre.
