What is an electric bike?

There are many electronic scooters that not require physical effort and rarely have pedals. Electric Bicycles are true bicycles, operation of the pedals is needed to progress further. The battery of the Electric Bike sends its power to the motor, to amplify the movement of the pedals. Therefore, the motor is limited in its assistance and does not distort the primary function of the bicycle. While riding you can use the motor to amplify the performance by 25% to 300% of the power you deploy, essentially making the rider a “bionic cyclist”.

Are there trails near the bike shop?

Yes, our bike rental shop is located next to the Petit Train du Nord trail, which is one of the longest biking trail in Mont-Tremblant. Mountain biking trails are also easily accessible.

Can we bike in the winter?

Yes, our fatbikes are ideal for our winters. Their very thick tires adhere perfectly to the snow.

Is the helmet included?

Yes.

We offer bike rentals of various sizes and for cyclists of all levels. Ask our team for our wide selection of e-bike rentals and the trail maps for the sport of your choice; road biking, recreational biking or mountain biking. Road biking in the area is recommended for more experienced cyclists who are used to riding on country roads and secondary highways.

Great scenery and multi-functional trails

The recreational trails in the region offer great scenery and conditions that are perfect for both serious cyclists and families out for a leisurely ride. The 200 km Parc Linéaire P’tit Train du Nord trail has both paved and unpaved sections and runs from St-Jérome to Mont-Laurier. The 11.6 km multi-functional trail (La Villageoise de Mont-Tremblant) is paved and runs from Tremblant Resort to Mont-Tremblant Village (The Old Village). The Mont-Tremblant region has more than 50 km of mountain bike trails that range from easy to expert. We offer a selection of electric mountain bikes that are perfect for riders of all levels.

E-Hybrid – Voyageur

If the idea of riding a bike on a bicycle path as much as on secondary roads interest you, the E-Hybrid bike is made for you. With the latest technology in the cycling industry, you will be able to explore the region without any limitations. This model is very light and efficient, made for long distances; it can easily do 120 km trips. The strongest and most robust road and gravel electric bike.

E-Gravel – Discovery

Similar to the electric road bike but with larger tires, perfect for gravel trails. Enjoy up to 5 hours of battery autonomy. Can easily do 120 km trips.

E-Mountain Full Suspension

Try our double suspension E-Montagne bike and ride with confidence and ease with a powerful motor.

E-Fatbike

This type of bike is an all-terrain bike with a front suspension, wide tires allow good grip on sand or mud. The added help of the electric assistance makes for a far less strenuous ride.

Winter biking

The Mont-Tremblant region has more than 50 km of fat biking trails that range from easy to expert. The trail network includes forest and mountain trails as well as the relatively flat P’tit train du nord bike path that winds through the region. E-Fatbike

This electric fatbike is perfect for winter: it's an all-terrain bike with a front suspension and wide tires that allow good grip on snow. The added help of the electric assistance makes for a far less strenuous ride.


Know before you book:

  • Minimum 14 years old with 6D moped license or class 5 license required.
  • 18 years old and more don’t need a permit.
  • Minimum 4’8” / 142 cm (E-Hybrid, E-Mountain and E-Fatbikes)
  • Minimum 5’2 / 158 cm (E-Gravel).
  • Maximum 220 lbs / 100 kg per bike.
  • A security deposit of $250 per regular bike and $500 per electric bike (max $1000 for groups) will be required. The deposit must be made on a credit card (Visa, MasterCard, AMEX) or with cash.
  • A piece of identification per group will be required for the rental.


    • Know before you go:

  • Please dress appropriately for biking. Ask if you are unsure or see our What to wear section.
  • We suggest to bring a backpack with sunscreen, water, mosquito repellent and a picnic if needed. Possibility to rent lunch bag and travel suitcase on site.
  • Wearing a helmet is mandatory. Please use the padlock provided if necessary.


    • Additional information :

  • Our base is 15 minutes from Tremblant resort. We are situated less than a 2-hour drive from Montreal and Ottawa.
  • E-Hybrid bike is the only bike that can pull a kids trailer or a giraffe.
  • Rental duration:1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours or full day.
  • For guests who choose to reserve in advance (recommended), directions to meeting points will be provided in your reservation by email. Otherwise, directions will be handed to you when you reserve at The Activity Centre.
  • Prices do not include taxes or mandatory resort royalty of 3% and may be subject to change without notice.
