Enjoy a Personal Eiffel Tower Experience with Small Tour Groups
Are you looking to visit the Eiffel Tower in a small group setting while avoiding the lines? Then this is the tour for you!
Fat Tire Tours offers several options for visiting La Dame de Fer, but this is by far the most intimate. With guaranteed group sizes of 10 guests or less, you are sure to have more one-on-one time with your guide to ask all of those Paris questions that you’ve been storing up! Plus, this trip includes access to all three levels of the Eiffel Tower, maximizing the experience through the various vantage points.
Starting at our office, located conveniently just a few minutes away from the Eiffel Tower, we will provide the group with a briefing of the security checkpoints on the tower as well as an overview of the tour. Should you have any prohibited items, you are welcome to leave them at our office and come back to pick them up later. We also have free and clean restrooms, wifi, and an area where you can relax after a busy day in the city!
As we make our way towards the Eiffel Tower, we will take advantage of the Champs de Mars, the park where the tower stands, for photos and a history of the area. Built for the Worlds’ Fair in 1889, the Eiffel Tower has been iconic in several ways throughout history, and your guide will enlighten you and provide you with facts to better appreciate your visit.
From there, we will direct everyone to a separate, quicker, security line, making our way directly to the elevators and avoiding the queue that can sometimes be 4+ hours at busy times. We’ve organized your tickets in advance so that you can relax and marvel at this modern treasure.
Many guests don’t realize that the Eiffel Tower has three separate visitation levels; we will head directly to the second level (where you can see the most of Paris) and enjoy the views and landmarks from here before making our way to the highly anticipated summit. The summit is truly an experience not to be missed! You can see a recreation of Gustave Eiffel’s apartment and enjoy a glass of bubbly at the Champagne bar.
You are welcome to stay on any level of the Eiffel Tower for as long as you’d like. We also highly encourage you to check out the glass floor (if you can handle it!) on the first level or enjoy some of the food and beverage options available on various floors. Your ticket entitles you to an elevator ride back down to the second level, at which point you can choose to continue on the elevator or try the stairs.
