See the city lit up with your own personal guide! Join us for a private Barcelona Night Bike Tour and experience Gaudí architecture, local tapas, and the Magic Fountain show. We’ve created a perfect itinerary for you and your family or friends so that you don’t miss a thing.
Beginning in the bustling Gothic quarter of Barcelona, your guide will meet you and help you pick out your bikes. We use comfortable city bikes that are great for all ages, and we have children’s bike accessories as well. Starting in the oldest part of the city (Plaça St Jaume) allows us to dive right into the history of Barcelona. The city’s town hall and Palau de la Generalitat de Catalunya (Government of Catalonia) are both located in this historical square, and they serve as a great backdrop for us to kick off the tour.
From the Gothic Quarter we will cycle to the end of the famous Las Ramblas, where you will see the old Port of Barcelona. This area was made famous by Christopher Columbus, and we’ll point out the column that was constructed in his honor and fill you in on his ties to Barcelona. We will then make our way to the Raval neighborhood, which is the cultural heart of the city.
Our night bike tour gives you the opportunity to explore the very distinct districts of Barcelona. We will ride through the lively Eixample neighborhood to Sant Antoni; a popular daytime market with local bars and tapas restaurants. Speaking of which, this is the perfect time in the tour for us to dig into our own tapas. We’ve selected our favorite restaurant and your guide will fill you in on the classic tapas to try. (Food at the stop is not included, but you are welcome to get as much or little as you’d like).
Now it’s time for the Magic Fountain show! Having been the showstopper of the 1929 International Expo, it continues to be the nucleus for many city-wide events. The musical fountain and light show is a breathtaking experience, and we’ve timed it just right so that you can see it all. We’ll also enjoy some Cava (sparkling Spanish wine) together as there’s no better way to round out an evening in Barcelona.
Following the fountain show, we’ll cycle near old bullfighting ring which is now lit up at night. You will also have the chance to see Gaudí’s famous Casa Batlló and its picture-perfect facade. This area of Barcelona is the epicenter of modernism, and there’s no better time to visit than at night when the crowds have vanished and the the illuminated buildings seem as if they are dancing.
Not to be outdone, we will also admire the beautiful Palau de la Música (Palace of Music), the towering Cathedral of Barcelona, and the square of Sant Felip Neri, all basking in that nighttime glow. And all along the way, your private guide will help make this tour special for you and your loved ones. We hope that you will entrust us with your evening in Barcelona so that you can bike, enjoy tapas, sip Cava, and marvel at the Magic Fountains das the day fades to night.

Companies have only begun to see the potential a group experience can offer. Multiple guides will be ready to break your Team into smaller groups for our ride into the city. Give your colleagues an opportunity to get out of a conference room chair and onto a comfortable bike! We meet in the middle of the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona, the oldest part of the city, at Plaça St Jaume. This beautiful square is the location of both the town hall and Palau de la Generalitat de Catalunya (Government of Catalonia). We’ll bike through the Gothic Quarter to the end of the famous Las Ramblas, where we’ll find the Old Port of Barcelona. After telling you about its history from being built in the 1600’s to the present day, we’ll head over to another area of the old city of Barcelona, the Raval neighbourhood. Once considered a rough part of town, it’s now a cultural heart of the city. Continuing on through the lively Eixample neighbourhood, we’ll find ourselves in Sant Antoni with its central daytime market and many bars and tapas restaurants. No evening in Barcelona is complete without tapas, so this is where we’ll stop at a local tapas bar to sample some classic Spanish cuisine. (Food at the stop is not included, but you are welcome to get as much or little as you’d like). Now that we’ve had our fill of tapas, its time to ride up to the Plaza España and climb up the steps to get a night time view of the city. The lookout from this location is absolutely stunning, and our guide will be there to point out all the sites, give you information about each one, and take photos for you. We’ll enjoy some Cava (sparkling Spanish wine) as we revel in the lights and sounds of Barcelona at night. As we make our way back, you’ll get to admire the illuminated old bullfighting ring and learn its new purpose since Catalonia banned bullfighting in 2010. You’ll also marvel at Gaudí’s famous Casa Batlló and its curvy lit up facade, looking almost other-worldly. This sits on La Manzana de la Discordia (the block of discord), a block of several modernist houses that seem to compete for the spotlight here at the epicentre of modernism. We’ll also see the beautiful Palau de la Música (Palace of Music), the towering Cathedral of Barcelona, and the square of Sant Felip Neri, all basking in that nighttime glow. Our Barcelona Night Bike Tour makes for a perfect magical evening in Barcelona – You’ll get a feel for the best parts of the city, eat tapas, sip Cava, see the Magic Fountain on display, and watch the city and its monuments light up the night.
