We are doing our best to make your experience special and safe. We are committed to sanitizing all high-touch surfaces, like handlebars, seats, and helmets before and after each use. You will likely be required to wear a mask on the train to Potsdam and at various times throughout the day; masks will be provided free of charge if you do not have one. We will also make hand sanitizer readily available and maintain safe, social distancing throughout the day.

This tour meets at our Alexanderplatz shop, located at the base of the giant TV Tower (Fernsehturm). You can find us on the northeast side of the tower between the Alex Café and the entrance to the TV Tower. The address is Panoramastraße 1a, 10178 Berlin. If you're staying in Potsdam and would like to meet us there when we arrive, just let us know in the notes of your booking! We can happily meet you at the train station before picking up our bikes.

Reservations are highly recommended! If you're not signed up in advance, be sure to arrive to the meeting point early. We will do our best to accommodate you, but we do limit the group size of this tour, and will likely not have a second guide available at the last minute.

Be sure to bring some Euro cash for the lunch break and a few extra layers as it can get chilly during the tour. You can easily store unwanted layers on your bike during the ride, but you'll be glad you brought them in the shady areas of Potsdam. A small bag will also fit on each bike.

Your reservation includes the guided tour plus the bike and a helmet, should you wish to wear one! All you need to do is get yourself to the meeting point, and we'll handle the rest!

Yes, we will make a stop for lunch during the tour. Please remember that the cost of food is not included in the tour price, so please be sure to bring Euro cash or Maestro/EC card. Many establishments in the Berlin area do not accept credit cards.

If you are joining our public Potsdam bike Tour, we're happy to offer free changes and 100% refund up to 24 hours before tour. Failure to cancel a reservation at least 24 hours prior to scheduled departure may result in forfeited travel funds. Fare difference may apply. If you opt for our private tour, please note that it must be cancelled or rebooked at least 7 days in advance of the activity start time. This tour does run rain or shine, but there are plenty of tree-covered areas in Potsdam where we can group together until heavy rain passes. We also have a lunch stop built into the tour and we can adjust the timing of that to correspond to inclement weather. We recommend that guests dress appropriately for the forecast, and bring extra layers along.

Following our day of biking in Potsdam, we will take the train together back to Berlin. If you'd like to stay in Potsdam longer, that's absolutely fine! Otherwise, we'll wrap up the tour at the Alexanderplatz station, where your guide will give you plenty of restaurant recommendations and directions back to your place of accommodation.

Over the course of the day, we'll cover approximately 11 miles, or 18 kilometers by bike. The ride is not strenuous and we've built in plenty of stops to discuss the relevant facts and stories of the sites that we'll see.

Via train, the journey will take us around 40 minutes. This is a great time to get to know your guide and group, or catch a few extra zzz's.
