Barcelona Night Bike Tour
TOUR DESCRIPTION

Experience the Barcelona Night Bike Tour with a dinner stop for tapas
We'll meet in the middle of the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona, the oldest part of the city, at Plaça St Jaume. This beautiful square is the location of both the town hall and Palau de la Generalitat de Catalunya (Government of Catalonia).
We'll bike through the Gothic Quarter to the end of the famous Las Ramblas, where we'll find the Old Port of Barcelona. After telling you about its history from being built in the 1600's to the present day, we'll head over to another area of the old city of Barcelona, the Raval neighborhood. Once considered a rough part of town, it's now a cultural heart of the city.
Continuing on through the lively Eixample neighborhood, we'll find ourselves in Sant Antoni with its central daytime market and many bars and tapas restaurants. No evening in Barcelona is complete without tapas, so this is where we'll stop at a local tapas bar to sample some classic Spanish cuisine. (Food at the stop is not included, but you are welcome to get as much or little as you'd like).
Now that we've had our fill of tapas, it's time for the Magic Fountain show! This fountain was the centerpiece of the 1929 International Expo and continues to be the location of many important city events. We've timed it so that you will get to see the illuminated fountain show with music and mesmerizing lights. We'll enjoy some Cava (sparkling Spanish wine) together as we watch the Magic Fountain show at just the right time, reveling in the lights and sounds of Barcelona at night.
As we make our way back, you'll get to admire the illuminated old bullfighting ring and learn its new purpose since Catalonia banned bullfighting in 2010. You'll also marvel at Gaudí's famous Casa Batlló and its curvy lit up facade, looking almost other-worldly. This sits on La Manzana de la Discordia (the block of discord), a block of several modernist houses that seem to compete for the spotlight here at the epicenter of modernism.
We'll also see the beautiful Palau de la Música (Palace of Music), the towering Cathedral of Barcelona, and the square of Sant Felip Neri, all basking in that nighttime glow.
Our Barcelona Night Bike Tour makes for a perfect magical evening in Barcelona - You'll get a feel for the best parts of the city, eat tapas, sip Cava, see the Magic Fountain on display, and watch the city and its monuments light up the night.
